How to make rainbow

On the short drive home from school today Josephine and I had such a great conversation. I am amazed daily on how bright my little girl is and how much she really takes in.
The sky was overcast and I was asking Joey if she thought it was going to rain...here is how the conversation went:

Me: Do you think it will rain?
JK: And make a rainbow?
Me: I don't know, but you need rain and sunshine to make a rainbow in the sky.
JK: Rain is water.
Me: Yes, you are correct!
JK: We can put water in our hands and throw it into the sky.
Me: That is a great idea.

What an amazing little girl!
